| Penn Hip |
Another method of testing used to rate hips for possible Degenerative Joint Disease . This test can be done on dogs as young as 5 months of age and the dogs are compared to other dogs whom have been tested and given a percentile where they would fall. Each hip is given a Distraction Index (DI) number and the lower the number, the tighter the hip. This test does not allude to a "passing" or "failing" hip score. |
